CHONGKUNDANG Donates 1,100 Boxes of 'Children's Vitamins' to Vulnerable Children

[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] Chong Kun Dang ( CHONGKUNDANG(185750)) announced on the 24th that it had partnered with WorldShare, an international relief and development NGO, to donate 1,100 boxes of the children’s vitamin “Beldwell i-Vitamin” to vulnerable children in Korea.

This donation was carried out as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts to support the nutritional well-being of children from low-income families and single-mother households.

The products donated by CHONGKUNDANG are scheduled to be distributed through WorldShare to organizations supporting children in the Gyeonggi, Gangwon, South Gyeongsang, Daejeon, and South Jeolla regions, such as Dream Start. Dream Start is a program run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare that provides health, welfare, and educational services to vulnerable children, targeting children aged 12 and under and their families.

A CHONGKUNDANG official stated, “We hope that the ‘Beldwell I-Vitamin’ donated by CHONGKUNDANG will help address nutritional imbalances among vulnerable children and provide tangible support for their healthy growth.”

Jang Hye-jun, Senior Manager of WorldShare’s International Business Division, said, “Helping vulnerable children grow up healthy is an important task that requires the collective attention of the local community,” adding, “We will continue to collaborate with companies and local communities to ensure that children in Korea receive the practical support they need.”

Beldwell I-Belvitamin is a vitamin product distributed through pharmacies for children; it contains B vitamins as well as minerals such as zinc, magnesium, and selenium.
