[Edaily Reporter KIM JUNG YOU ] Craver Corporation (Craver) announced on the 26th that its cosmetics (beauty) brand “Skin1004” has opened a pop-up store on Japan’s leading beauty platform, “AtCosme.” Photo: Skin1004 The pop-up took place from the 17th to the 23rd at the @cosme store in Harajuku, Shibuya, Japan. The @cosme Harajuku branch is a flagship location where K-Beauty brand pop-ups have been actively held recently; last year, brands such as AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION(090430), and others held various events there.
Since Harajuku is not only a major tourist destination in Tokyo but is also regarded as a “trend hub” among locals, the pop-up is reported to have had a significant impact. Skin1004 also planned this pop-up to expand its engagement with local consumers.
The pop-up centered on Skin1004’s new lines, “Centella-Teca” and “Hyal-Teca.” Through a “Scoop” event, the brand also gave away specially produced merchandise, including products, pouches, and keychains.
In addition, Skin1004 is expanding its online content through collaborations with Japanese influencers. The brand invited about 20 well-known creators to produce on-site visit content, which reportedly achieved over 2 million cumulative views.
Kwak In-seung, Head of the Skin1004 Brand Division at Craver, said, “Through this pop-up, we were able to reaffirm the high level of interest from Japanese consumers and our brand’s competitiveness,” adding, “Going forward, we will strengthen our collaborations with local influencers and diversify our consumer touchpoints to lay the foundation for long-term growth in the Japanese market.”
