This contract marks an additional achievement for TXR Robotics Co., Ltd., following a previous robot supply order worth approximately 8 billion won. With this latest contract added to its existing delivery track record, the company has secured orders and supply contracts totaling over 20 billion won in its robotics business this year.
The modular lifting robot to be supplied is an omnidirectional, autonomous mobile worktable robot designed to improve operational efficiency at construction sites for large-scale high-tech manufacturing facilities, such as semiconductor plants. Multiple robots will be linked to a single work platform to coordinate movement, as well as ascending and descending, and the system is intended for use in processes requiring work at heights, such as the installation of overhead piping and equipment.
The robot employs Mecanum wheel-based omnidirectional mobility technology, enabling flexible maneuvering—including movement in all directions (forward, backward, left, right, and diagonally) as well as in-place rotation. This allows the platform to be precisely positioned according to the work location even in complex construction site environments, and the platform can be raised or lowered to match the required work height, thereby improving worker accessibility and process efficiency.
In particular, its modular design allows multiple robots to be combined and operated together, enabling flexible deployment based on site conditions and work objectives. TXR Robotics Co., Ltd. expects this solution to transform certain work processes—which were previously centered on fixed work platforms or equipment—into robot-based mobile platforms, thereby contributing to improved work efficiency and safety at construction sites for advanced manufacturing facilities, such as semiconductor plants.
Through this contract, TXR Robotics Co., Ltd. has expanded the scope of robot applications beyond the existing logistics and manufacturing automation sectors to include construction sites for advanced manufacturing infrastructure, such as semiconductor facilities. The company plans to continuously advance the robot solutions required in cutting-edge industrial settings based on autonomous driving, lifting control, and multi-robot coordination technologies.
Eom In-seop, CEO of TXR Robotics Co., Ltd., stated, “This contract to supply modular lifting robots is a significant example demonstrating the potential of robot-based mobile work platforms at construction sites for high-precision manufacturing facilities, such as semiconductor plants.” He added, “We will continue to expand our range of robotic solutions that can enhance work efficiency and safety across various industrial sites.”
