This inspection was conducted by HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES’ Himsen Engine Quality Management Department, which visited NANO. Co., Ltd.’s production plant. The team reviewed the company’s quality management system through a written assessment and inspected the entire production process—from raw material receipt to processing, forming, heat treatment, and shipment—as well as its safety, health, and environmental management systems. NANO. Co., Ltd. supplies eco-friendly SCR catalysts to HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES for use in engines for large vessels and offshore plants. SCR catalysts are key components that reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted by ship engines, and their quality stability is becoming increasingly important amid tightening global environmental regulations and the expansion of eco-friendly vessels. NANO. Co., Ltd. assessed that this evaluation reaffirmed its capabilities in production and process management. The company also expects to contribute to securing the stability of the eco-friendly catalyst supply chain as demand grows for HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES’ independently developed “HiMSEN” engine. A NANO. Co., Ltd. official stated, “Based on our partnership for mutual growth with HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, we will maintain a world-class SCR catalyst supply chain and strive to enhance sales stability and shareholder value.”
