[E-Daily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] HANJOO ART(058450) announced on the 10th that its subsidiary, The Black Studio, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with internet broadcaster BJ Cheol-gu (real name Lee Ye-jun) and Quantarum, the operator of the live notification service “Ringo,” to jointly pursue a virtual entertainment business. Through this agreement, the three companies plan to jointly plan, develop, and operate new content—including virtual idols and virtual creators—to enter the virtual entertainment market. Under the agreement, the three companies will jointly pursue the following initiatives: △ planning, development, and nurturing of virtual characters; △ production and distribution of content such as videos, live streams, music, and merchandise; △ projects combining internet live streaming with virtual content; and △ content promotion and fanbase management using the “Ringo” platform. The Black Studio will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including operations, investment, fundraising, and management. BJ Cheol-gu will participate in content production, planning consultation, and promotion, while Quantarum will support content distribution and fan communication systems based on the “Ringo” platform. Additionally, to advance the business, the companies will operate a working-level task force composed of representatives from each company and share progress updates and key decisions through regular meetings.
