JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Apartment,” premiering on the 11th, is a down-to-earth human drama that follows Park Hae-gang—a former boss of the Oasis Gang who runs for the residents’ association chairmanship to get his hands on hidden money within the apartment complex—as he works with the residents to root out corruption. Starring Ji Sung, Ha Yoon-kyung, Park Byung-eun, and Moon So-ri, the show is generating high anticipation.
The premiere episode will depict the wedding of Park Hae-gang (played by Ji Sung) and Kang Ha-ri (played by Ha Yoon-kyung). This scene serves as the prelude to the two becoming an “intermittent family.”
Park Hae-gang, having shed the chilling charisma of the former Oasis Gang boss, captivates viewers with his affectionate gaze. Curiosity is mounting over the story behind how Park Hae-gang—who infiltrated the apartment complex to get his hands on 10 billion won—and Kang Ha-ri, with whom he becomes entangled as a “fake family,” ended up walking down the aisle at breakneck speed right from the first episode.
“Apartment” tells the story of Park Hae-gang, the former boss of the Oasis Gang, who runs for president of the apartment residents’ association to get his hands on the hidden money within the complex and, together with the residents, works to root out corruption. The series is a collaboration between writer Kim Yoon-young, who showcased her solid storytelling skills in *Revenge Is Back*, and director Jo Yong-won, whose stylish direction was recognized with the Best Director Award at the Seoul Drama Awards for *Looking for My Child*.
