[Edaily Reporter Han Kwangbeom ] Google Cloud announced on the 13th that it has partnered with SamsungElectronics(005930)to provide “Gemini Enterprise” to employees in SamsungElectronics’ Device Experience (DX) division worldwide, including in South Korea.

This collaboration marks the largest-ever implementation of Google Cloud’s agentic AI in the Korean enterprise sector. Through this partnership, SamsungElectronics plans to accelerate its agentic AI strategy and set a new global standard for employee productivity and operational innovation.

The two companies are driving a paradigm shift centered on integrated agentic capabilities that coordinate AI agents with autonomy and continuity, moving beyond the limitations of AI tools that were previously confined to simple task assistance. To this end, they have built infrastructure for company-wide agentic workflows and introduced a dual-layer architecture tailored to the diverse business requirements within the DX Division.

First, they are pursuing “expanded data accessibility through the Gemini Enterprise App.” Employees in SamsungElectronics’ DX Division can use the Gemini Enterprise App as an intelligence-based, interactive collaboration space. This app goes beyond a standalone chatbot to serve as a centralized gateway that connects disparate internal systems into a single platform. Through this, employees can search for and synthesize complex organizational knowledge data in real time for use in their work, transforming their daily tasks from passive data retrieval to a guided, proactive problem-solving approach.

At the same time, it lays the groundwork for “developing future agentic capabilities.” The company-wide adoption of the Gemini Enterprise app serves as a key foundation for expanding SamsungElectronics’ next-generation AI roadmap. SamsungElectronics plans to build a data environment and operational framework that enables employees to safely begin using AI in an environment equipped with enterprise-grade security and governance. This will pave the way for the future adoption of customized, multi-step Agent AI agents capable of autonomously managing complex corporate workflows.

The long-term goal of the partnership between the two companies is to achieve company-wide AI adoption, where both developers and non-developers at SamsungElectronics can directly create AI agents and generate business value. Gemini Enterprise plans to continuously expand and provide advanced development capabilities to support this.

To this end, the partnership will support low-code and no-code customization for business units. Google Cloud plans to enable personnel in departments such as HR and marketing to build customized agents optimized for their specific tasks through an agentic framework that incorporates governance, security, and scalability.

Employees will be able to build specialized compliance and onboarding agents that go beyond simply searching for information to actively solve problems. Support for development environments for advanced engineering will also be provided. In line with SamsungElectronics’ expansion of its agentic workforce strategy, Google Cloud will provide a robust framework and technology ecosystem that enables the seamless creation, scaling, management, and optimization of custom AI agents and a diverse portfolio of AI models.

To reliably scale an agentic workforce at the level of a global conglomerate, SamsungElectronics has also established robust data sovereignty and security systems to protect its agentic enterprise. Gemini Enterprise is deployed directly within a dedicated Google Cloud tenant environment for SamsungElectronics’ DX Division, ensuring strong data sovereignty and enterprise governance.

The company’s sensitive data is managed exclusively within strictly controlled boundaries, preventing any external leakage. SamsungElectronics can protect its self-built business intelligence and automated workflows—which are core corporate assets—while maintaining strong control and safely scaling its digital workforce.
