[E-Daily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] Mobidays, a comprehensive media and content group, successfully returned to operating profit in the second quarter of this year. Analysts say the company has shaken off its first-quarter slump, driven by a recovery in its advertising and marketing business and growth in its content and intellectual property (IP) business.

Mobidays(363260)The company announced on the 13th that it recorded second-quarter revenue of 13.09 billion won and operating profit of 2.76 billion won on a consolidated basis. Revenue increased by 36.9% compared to the previous quarter (9.56 billion won), and operating profit turned from a 170 million won loss in the first quarter to a profit in the second quarter. Year-over-year, revenue rose by 7.4% and operating profit by 11.3%.

Cumulative results for the first half of the year showed revenue of 22.65 billion won, operating profit of 2.59 billion won, and net income of 2.55 billion won. Net income exceeded the figure for the first half of last year (2.39 billion won).

Mobidays is a KOSDAQ-listed company specializing in data-driven digital marketing and ad tech (advertising technology). Building on performance marketing—which enhances advertising efficiency—the company is expanding its reach into content, gaming, and e-commerce. Its subsidiaries include MobicontenTech, which operates the global K-content commerce platform “COKODIVE,” as well as Mobigames, MobicarrierEdu (GrowSchool), and Mobitouch.

The company attributed this improvement in performance to operational efficiencies in its advertising and marketing business, the expansion of major campaigns, growth in its content and IP commerce business, and group-wide cost optimization.

In the second half of the year, the company will accelerate its transition to AI-based operations. It plans to shift from its existing advertising agency-centric model by strengthening AI-based operational automation and performance analysis, and to expand its AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Search Optimization) consulting and solutions businesses to address the generative AI search environment.

Additionally, the company’s strategy is to strengthen cooperation with global platforms such as Google to transition to a high-value-added business structure centered on AX (AI Transformation).

The company is also expanding its content business. MobicontenTech is strengthening its global K-content commerce business and is preparing six to seven video IP projects, including “De Gaulle” and “The Invite,” following the film “Sentimental Value.” Mobigames also plans to release multiple new games in the second half of the year.

Mobidays plans to unveil its marketing strategies for the AI era, changes in global platforms, creative automation, and the direction of its content and IP businesses at “MAX SUMMIT 2026,” to be held at COEX in Seoul on August 3–4.

A company official stated, “Our second-quarter results confirm our progress in restoring profitability and improving our business fundamentals despite the rapidly changing business environment,” adding, “In the second half of the year, we will strengthen our foundation for mid- to long-term growth by focusing on AI and AIX-based marketing, content IP, and global business.”
