These members have the right to participate in voting to select nominees and winners for the “Grammy Awards.” CEO Jeong Wook and Chief Strategy Officer Shin Hyun-kook, who also serves as CEO of JYP America, have been selected as Professional Members of the Recording Academy. Professional Membership is intended for music business professionals who directly support music creators; members can participate in the Recording Academy’s music industry community, various programs, networking opportunities, and the Grammy Awards submission process. The “Grammy Awards” is a music awards ceremony that the Recording Academy has hosted since 1959. The 69th ceremony will take place on February 7 (local time) next year in Los Angeles, USA.
