According to CLASSYS Inc. on the 15th, CEO Yoon gained extensive experience in software engineering, marketing, and business planning at SamsungElectronics’ Korean and U.S. subsidiaries. From 2009 to 2018, he served on the Strategy Team within the Samsung Group’s Future Strategy Office, where he was responsible for group-wide business portfolio strategy, identifying new growth engines, and large-scale mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
In particular, he led SamsungElectronics’ acquisition of Harman and the post-merger integration (PMI) process. Subsequently, he served as a director at Rainbow Robotics and Flact Group, a company specializing in data center HVAC systems, where he drove growth strategies and management optimization for portfolio companies.
CLASSYS Inc. views CEO Yoon as the ideal candidate to lead the company’s next phase of growth, given his expertise in global business strategy, M&A, technology, and business operations.
Through its merger with Iruda, the company has expanded its product portfolio and is growing its global business by targeting the U.S. and Chinese markets, establishing a direct sales structure in Brazil, and transitioning to direct operations in Japan. Currently, overseas sales account for approximately 67% of total revenue, and overseas employees make up about 33% of the workforce.
CEO Yoon plans to focus on the following key tasks moving forward: △ expanding global operations and developing next-generation AI, software, and data-driven products and platforms; △ enhancing the business portfolio; and △ strengthening the company-wide management system and execution capabilities.
In particular, the company envisions combining CLASSYS Inc.’s energy-based medical aesthetic device technology and its accumulated clinical and procedural data with AI and software to go beyond simply improving the performance of existing equipment and introducing new types of products and services. Through this, the company aims to leap forward from being a mere equipment manufacturer to becoming a global medical aesthetics platform company.
