Hancom WITH announced on the 16th that it introduced its company and key solutions to a delegation of Japanese corporate representatives visiting Korea for the “Korea-Japan Nikkei Open Innovation Cooperation Day,” a joint event hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Nikkei, a Japanese financial newspaper.

Hancom WITH has recently been expanding its business in Japan and was selected as a participating company in the “Visit to Leading Korean Companies in the AI and ICT Sectors and Introduction of Their Technologies and Business Models” program at this event.

The delegation included representatives from KOTRA and Nikkei, winners of “Nikkei The Pitch”—a startup and new business discovery pitching program operated by Nikkei—and executives from major Japanese companies.

On the day of the event, Hancom WITH introduced and demonstrated its facial recognition solution “Hancom OS,” its unobtrusive continuous authentication solution “Hancom XCOs,” and its Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate automation management solution “Hancom UCLM.”

The company also shared the current status of its local business operations, which are focused on “Hancom OS” and next-generation security solutions targeting the Japanese financial and public sectors.

The company explained that Japanese corporate representatives expressed interest in the recognition range of the facial recognition solution, its ability to recognize non-human objects, the rationale for prioritizing the Japanese market, and the scale of local partnerships.
