(Photo courtesy of Big Hit Music) According to their agency, Big Hit Music, on the 17th, BTS released an additional audio track for “Normal” (NORMAL), a song from their fifth studio album “ARIRANG,” at 1:00 p.m. that day. The new release consists of three versions in total, including a Korean version and an instrumental version. Notably, the Korean version was first unveiled during the “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN” held last June, where it received an enthusiastic response from fans. The music video for the original song was also premiered on Spotify today. It is scheduled to be released on other platforms, such as YouTube, on the 19th. Rather than focusing on the glamour of the stage, the music video captures the quiet moments that follow the end of a performance. The members are shown singing while being drenched by water, lying down with injuries, and living out their tired, disheveled daily lives amidst the remnants left behind after the party—all portrayed exactly as they are. Instead of exaggerated staging, the camera captures the members’ natural moments, focusing on the faces of “ordinary young people” before they became global stars. “Normal” is an alternative pop track that calmly explores the emptiness and fear hidden behind the spotlight. World-renowned producer Ryan Tedder collaborated on the track, which has received critical acclaim for its seamless blend of singing and rapping and its nuanced emotional expression. The song previously entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at No. 41 and remained on the chart for three consecutive weeks. BTS also continues to connect with fans through music. On the 19th (local time), they will perform during the halftime show of the “2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup” final at New Jersey Stadium in New York, sharing the stage with global pop stars such as Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber.
