According to MP Doctor on the 20th, as of 9:05 a.m. today, Hana Micron Inc. is trading at 39,400 won, up 3,650 won (10.21%) from the previous trading day.
This is interpreted as investor sentiment being boosted by forecasts that Hana Micron Inc. will post second-quarter revenue and operating profit figures that exceed market consensus estimates. In particular, analysts note that the company’s subsidiaries in Vietnam and Brazil are growing in tandem, leading to balanced performance improvements across all business segments.
Korea Investment & Securities raised its target price for Hana Micron Inc. from 55,000 won to 68,000 won today. It maintained its “Buy” rating.
The firm projected that Hana Micron Inc.’s second-quarter revenue and operating profit would reach 621.4 billion won and 90.0 billion won, respectively, representing year-over-year increases of 82.7% and 198.1%.
Nam Chae-min, an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities, explained, “Growth is being achieved across all business segments,” adding, “The Vietnam subsidiary is currently operating at full capacity, and growth compared to the previous quarter is expected starting in the second half of the year as the expanded production capacity (Capa) is reflected.” Regarding the Brazil subsidiary, he analyzed, “Margins are also expected to remain at a high level in the mid-to-high 10% range.”
Analyst Nam added, “Given that valuation pressures have eased due to the recent stock price correction, now is the time to actively buy.”
