[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] CP SYSTEM(413630), a company specializing in cable protection solutions for robotic automation equipment, announced on the 22nd that it is supplying a line of high-purity cable chains—centered on its “Roboway” product—for the robotic automation facilities at a global Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer’s electrification components plant in India. The identity of the contracting party has not been disclosed. (Photo: CP SYSTEM) This shipment is being delivered in stages to align with the schedule for establishing a new electrification parts line at the parts manufacturer’s Indian plant, and CP SYSTEM is continuing to make additional deliveries in line with the pace of local automation equipment installation. The company anticipates that follow-up supplies will expand in the future as the line is expanded and equipment is upgraded. Roboway is a robot-specific cable chain designed to stably align and protect cables and hoses in repetitive motion sections of articulated robots and automation equipment. It is engineered to reduce the risks of cable breakage, wear, and interference that commonly occur in robot arm sections subject to frequent bending and rotation. The industry is taking note of the fact that CP SYSTEM has passed the stringent technical standards and verification procedures of major global automotive parts manufacturers, thereby securing a “spec-in” reference within the core supply chain. CP SYSTEM is also expanding the application of its high-cleanliness cable chain product line in the semiconductor equipment sector. The company explains that, alongside recent large-scale capital investment plans by domestic semiconductor firms such as SamsungElectronics and SK hynix, demand is expected to grow for its high-cleanliness, high-performance cable protection solutions—including “G-Clean Chain” and “Roboway”—which are currently supplied to global semiconductor factories such as Intel and CXMT. A CP SYSTEM official stated, “The scope of application for cable protection solutions is rapidly expanding in line with the proliferation of electrified production lines and robotic automation equipment,” adding, “Based on our proven technological capabilities in the global automotive parts supply chain and semiconductor markets, we will strengthen our efforts to target the high-value-added cable protection solutions market.”
