[Edaily Reporter KIM AH-REUM ] AceBed(003800), South Korea’s leading mattress brand, announced on the 28th that it was ranked No. 1 in the mattress category for the 21st consecutive year in the “2026 Korea Quality Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI)” survey.

The “Korea Quality Satisfaction Index,” jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and the Korean Society for Quality Management, is an indicator that comprehensively measures quality levels and satisfaction based on evaluations by consumers who have direct experience using the products and by experts. By topping the bed category for 21 consecutive years through this year, AceBed has once again demonstrated the brand competitiveness it has built up over a long period.

Guided by its management philosophy of “We don’t make it unless it’s the best,” AceBed has adhered to strict standards throughout the entire process—from product development to production and quality verification. While strengthening its premium product lineup to keep pace with changes in consumers’ sleep habits and lifestyles, the company continues to drive innovation across various fronts, including enhancing its research and development capabilities and establishing an eco-friendly production environment.

AceBed’s research and testing capabilities, which underpin product quality, are another key strength. The “AceBed Engineering Research Institute,” which has operated as the only internationally accredited testing laboratory in the Korean bedding industry since 2006, has demonstrated its testing and analytical capabilities by passing proficiency assessments in the fields of mechanics (administered by Germany’s DRRR) and chemistry (administered by the Netherlands’ IIS). Last year, the institute received additional accreditation from the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) for measuring formaldehyde content in textiles, expanding its accredited testing scope from the existing field of mechanics to include chemistry, thereby enhancing confidence in product safety and quality control.

The company is also taking the lead in sustainable management at its production sites. This year, AceBed installed a Factory Energy Management System (FEMS) and solar power generation facilities with a total capacity of 5,940 kW at its factories in Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province, and Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. The goal is to produce approximately 7.62 GWh of renewable energy annually, achieving a renewable energy conversion rate of about 60%. Through these efforts, the company expects to save approximately 1.5 billion won in electricity costs and reduce carbon emissions by 3,617 metric tons.

An AceBed representative stated, “Ranking first in the Korea Quality Satisfaction Index for 21 consecutive years is an achievement made possible by our consumers, who have trusted and chosen AceBed for so long,” adding, “Moving forward, based on continuous research and technological innovation, we will raise quality standards across the entire spectrum—from products to production and service—and create a sleep environment that consumers can trust.”
