[Edaily Reporter LEE YUN-JEONG ] AX Corporation MOCOMSYS(333050)(CEOs Kim In-soo and Yoon Young-ho) is set to commercialize its “LLM-Neutral MCP Gateway” and governance layer, which precisely control and log AI access to internal data within closed-network environments based on data integration and security technologies accumulated over 19 years.

Since its establishment in 2007, Innotena has built and operated file-level encryption, data integration, and centralized document access control systems for major corporations in the financial, manufacturing, and public sectors. Last April, the company changed its name from Moco M-Sys to Innotena, officially marking its transformation into an AI and cloud-based data platform company.
Innotena emphasizes that precisely controlling and logging which data AI accesses and under what permissions is key to realizing sovereign AI. To this end, rather than developing its own LLM, the company is focusing on its data integration, authorization, and encryption technologies—proven over 19 years—and has adopted an “LLM-neutral modular approach” that integrates with various external LLMs via the standard MCP (Model Context Protocol).
The MCP gateway implemented by Innotena goes beyond simply connecting AI systems; it serves as a governance layer that controls and logs AI access to data through access audit logs, permission-based filtering, and data export controls. A major strength is that it is not tied to any specific LLM, allowing customers to freely select and switch to the optimal AI model for their specific situation.
Results are also becoming visible. Last June, Innotena signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Upstage—a Sovereign AI provider under the government’s K-AI Elite Team initiative—to collaborate on an “Enterprise Intelligent Knowledge Security Platform.” The two companies plan to develop a product that combines Upstage’s Solar LLM and Document Parse with Innotena’s document centralization solution, “Mpower EZis-C,” and target the B2B and B2G markets.
Kim In-soo, CEO of Innotena, stated, “While LLM trends and model performance are changing rapidly, the importance of data governance infrastructure—which securely protects a company’s core data and controls access permissions—remains constant.” He added, “Rather than relying on specific models, we will lead the market as a ‘trusted AI data access control and governance partner’ for enterprises and public institutions, based on our long-proven capabilities in data integration and security.”
