Following the Birth of Their First Daughter in 2016, the Couple Welcomed Their Second Child, a Son
[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Actress Tang Wei has become a mother of two after welcoming her second child at the age of 47. Tang Wei (Photo: E-Daily DB) On the 22nd, Tang Wei shared a photo on Chinese social media showing the family of four—including her newborn—holding hands, along with the caption, “Our journey as a family of four has begun.” The illustration posted alongside the photo is reportedly a picture of a foal that her father, a painter, drew himself for his grandson. However, it is understood that the post was not made on the day of the birth. Born in 1979, Tang Wei married director Kim Tae-yong—whom she met while filming the movie *Late Autumn*—in 2014, and they welcomed their first daughter in 2016. With the birth of their second child, the couple has now formed a family of four. Pregnancy rumors began circulating earlier this year after Tang Wei was spotted looking different at a public event, and she personally announced the news in April. At the time, she expressed her joy, saying, “I was really surprised and very happy,” and added, “Another new life is coming to our family.” Tang Wei is set to star in director Park Chan-wook’s new film, *The Brigands of Rattlecrete*.
