[Edaily Reporter LEE MINHA ] Kyowon Tour’s “Travel Ezi” is strengthening its engagement with the 20s and 30s demographic on social media through content featuring an AI character.
Travel Ezi introduced the AI character “Ezi” to strengthen communication with its young customer base. Inspired by a meerkat, Ezi is portrayed as a new marketing employee at Travel Ezi and shares episodes from her work life through the short-form social media series “Ezi’s Daily Log.”
According to an analysis of data from Kyowon Tour’s social media channels (Instagram and YouTube), content featuring Ezi has surpassed 1 million cumulative views. Views on Ezi-related Instagram content were found to be more than four times higher than those for general informational content.
User engagement rates were 2.2 times higher than those for general content. Engagement rate is a metric that measures the proportion of users who interacted with the content—such as through comments, likes, or shares—out of the total number of users who viewed it.
Kyowon Tour plans to expand its engagement with the 20s and 30s demographic and enhance its digital communication through storytelling-focused content featuring “Ezi.”
A Kyowon Tour representative stated, “‘Ezi’ serves as a channel for communicating with customers by delivering travel information and brand experiences in a friendly manner,” adding, “We will continue to introduce differentiated content that resonates with and engages customers, thereby expanding our communication channels with the 20s and 30s generation.”
