[Edaily JAEMIN SONG Choi Oh-hyun Reporter] “In the second quarter, the timing of shipments for certain products and the composition of the product portfolio affected the overall blended average selling price (ASP). We expect these factors to gradually ease in the second half of the year. As HBM4 volumes expand in earnest and shipments of standard DRAM using the 10-nanometer-class 6th-generation (1c) process increase, we forecast that bit growth (shipment growth rate) in the second half will be higher than in the first half. The expansion of HBM4 sales and the rising share of high-value-added products will also contribute positively to the blended ASP. We expect the upward trend in earnings to strengthen further in the second half as the effects of increased shipment volumes and improved product mix combine to drive price increases. We are managing our sales strategy by comprehensively considering customer demand, medium- to long-term business relationships, and the supply-demand situation for each product, rather than focusing on short-term price fluctuations. We will continue to achieve stable earnings growth while fully capitalizing on market growth opportunities.”
