[Edaily Reporter Kang Min-koo ] Global fintech company Hecto Financial(234340)is enhancing the “Find Popular Cards” service within Samsung Wallet to help SamsungElectronics and Samsung Wallet users find cards that best suit their needs more easily and enjoy rewards points.
(Source: Hecto Financial) The “Find Popular Cards” service provided by Hecto Financial offers Samsung Wallet users a variety of information to help them choose a payment card. Based on Samsung Wallet statistical data, it provides rankings of the most frequently used cards by category—such as payments, registered cards, debit cards, and international payments—as well as a “Credit Card Search” feature that allows users to find cards that meet their specific criteria.
Through its collaboration with SamsungElectronics, Hecto Financial plans to enhance the “Find Popular Cards” service by adding personalized card recommendations and tangible benefits for users.
It will introduce a new card recommendation feature tailored to monthly themes, such as holidays, vacation seasons, and the end-of-year period. Users can compare cards that match their spending patterns and interests for each season to enjoy more card benefits.
The service will also expand tangible benefits for users. As an affiliate recruiter for card issuers, Hecto Financial curates card issuer events—such as cashback offers and new card issuance benefits—and users can receive additional “Samsung Wallet Points” based on event participation conditions. Samsung Wallet Points can be used like cash at all online and offline merchants that accept Samsung Pay.
Through “The Sen Card,” a card benefits comparison platform, Hecto Financial plans to enhance its “Card Curation” service—which provides users with tangible benefits based on the Hecto Group’s in-house data-driven card benefits comparison and recommendation capabilities—to help users find the most popular cards.
Hecto Financial began its entry into the offline payment gateway (PG) market in 2022 through the deployment of SamsungElectronics kiosks. This year, the company is expanding its partnership with SamsungElectronics, including obtaining the status of an official SamsungElectronics distribution partner.
Choi Jong-won, CEO of Hecto Financial, stated, “Following our collaboration with SamsungElectronics in the areas of offline payment infrastructure and distribution, this partnership allows us to expand our scope of cooperation into the digital financial services sector,” adding “By combining Hecto Financial’s payment and settlement infrastructure with data-driven financial services, we will introduce a new customer experience that delivers tangible benefits, and we will actively collaborate with SamsungElectronics to help Samsung Wallet evolve beyond payments into a ‘life hub’ for everyday life,” he added.
