XIIlab Co., Ltd Begins Ordering GPU Equipment… Full-Scale Launch of AI Computing Resources Business
Decision Made to Pay Advance Payments to Four Suppliers
Large-Scale Order Placed Just Three Weeks After Contract Signing
Handling the Entire Lifecycle of AI Data Center Design, Construction, and Operation
[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] C-Lab ( XIIlab Co., Ltd(189330)), an artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure solutions company, has begun placing orders for graphics processing units (GPUs) and core equipment to carry out its AI computing resources business. The company plans to fully launch its infrastructure business, which spans everything from the construction to the operation of AI data centers.
XIIlab Co., Ltd. announced on the 30th that it has begun purchasing GPUs and core equipment to carry out its “Project to Strengthen the Foundation for AI Computing Resource Utilization.” Following a board resolution, XIIlab Co., Ltd. decided to make advance payments to four suppliers—Ezwell AI, HS Hyosung Information Systems, iCRAFT Co., Ltd., and S NET SYSTEMS.Inc.—and disclosed this decision.
These advance payments are intended to fulfill the supply contracts announced on the 7th. The funds will be disbursed using the advance payments received in accordance with the contract terms. XIIlab Co., Ltd. explained that the project has entered the execution phase, with large-scale orders beginning just three weeks after the contracts were signed.
In the AI data center market, the ability to design and validate GPUs, CPUs, networks, storage, and cooling as a single integrated system is becoming increasingly important. The trend is shifting toward system integration capabilities—which involve stably building and operating the entire infrastructure—emerging as a key competitive advantage, rather than simply securing GPUs.
XIIlab Co., Ltd defines this area as “Professional Services.” Based on its system-level engineering capabilities, the company plans to handle the entire lifecycle of AI data centers—from infrastructure design and deployment to system integration and validation, workload optimization, and operational management.
Following deployment, the company will implement its proprietary GPU orchestration solution, “Astraggo.” The vision is to use Astraggo to increase GPU resource utilization and extend the business into the operational phase through managed services.
XIIlab Co., Ltd views this project as the starting point for a business model where deployment and operations grow in tandem. The company explains that as its track record in AI data center deployments grows, the GPU installed base managed by Astrago will expand, enabling it to secure additional revenue from operations.
Going forward, the company plans to expand its business scope to include physical AI workloads, such as the vision AI “X-IBA” and the digital twin “X-Gen,” on top of this infrastructure.
Yoon Se-hyuk, CEO of XIIlab Co., Ltd, stated, “The focus of AI infrastructure investment is shifting from simply securing GPUs to comprehensive capabilities that encompass the design and operation of the entire system.” He added, “Since the Vera Rubin generation is an architecture that delivers its full performance when computing, cooling, and networking are designed as an integrated system, XIIlab Co., Ltd will increase the actual utilization rate of domestic AI infrastructure through professional services that cover everything from deployment to operation.”
