(Photo: SamsungElectronics) SamsungElectronics announced on the 31st that it unveiled its next-generation integrated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solution, “EHS All-in-One,” at a demonstration site in Donam-dong, Jeju Island.
The event was attended by government and local government officials, including Lee Ho-hyun, Second Vice Minister of the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment, and Wi Seong-gon, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, as well as Kim Cheol-ki, Executive Vice President and Head of the Home Appliances Business Division at SamsungElectronics. Attendees examined heat pump technology and reviewed measures to improve energy efficiency toward carbon neutrality.
The EHS All-in-One is a product that combines the heating and hot water functions of a standard heat pump boiler with air cooling capabilities. Previously, air conditioners and boilers had to be installed separately for seasonal heating and cooling, but with the EHS All-in-One, a single outdoor unit can handle cooling, heating, and hot water supply.

The product is designed for year-round use, tailored to Korea’s four-season climate, which features significant temperature differences between summer and winter.
SamsungElectronics is verifying the product’s performance not only in single-family homes on Jeju Island but also in multi-unit residential settings. SamsungElectronics is currently conducting field tests of the EHS All-in-One at the SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION Residential Performance Research Institute, where an environment similar to that of an apartment complex has been created. The performance and energy usage data collected from each test site will be used as foundational data for the future expansion of heat pump adoption in Korea.
Kim Cheol-gi, Executive Vice President and Head of SamsungElectronics’ DA Business Division, stated, “The ‘EHS All-in-One’ is a four-season customized HVAC solution that integrates cooling with the heating and hot water functions of existing heat pumps.” He added, “Following the expansion of heat pump boiler supply in Korea, we will accelerate efforts to provide high-efficiency residential environments by rapidly rolling out the ‘EHS All-in-One’—which has already been validated in the European market—in Korea as well.”
