In Episode 9, airing on the 1st, Kang Tae-ju (Namgoong Min) sharply interrogates the kidnapper Kim Kyung-ae (Lee Sang-hee), who has finally regained consciousness after surgery.
In the episode, Kang Tae-ju visits Kim Kyung-ae’s hospital room to speak with her. Kang Tae-ju relentlessly fires off questions, while Kim Kyung-ae—her previous defiant demeanor now completely gone—looks away with a nervous and anxious expression. Furthermore, reports indicate that when Kang Tae-ju makes a remark regarding a suspicious detail, Kim Kyung-ae appears to be taken by surprise and is left in shock. Attention is now focused on what exactly Kang Tae-ju said.
The production team stated, “This is a crucial scene where Kim Kyung-ae, who has just woken up from surgery, and Kang Tae-ju, who is determined to uncover the truth, come face-to-face for the first time,” adding, “Please look forward to seeing how Kang Tae-ju and Kim Kyung-ae’s roles have completely reversed compared to the kidnapping incident.”
“The Perfection of Marriage” is a program produced with support from the Korea Communications Commission’s Broadcasting and Communications Development Fund. It is a perilous crime thriller about a man who engages in an extreme battle against a heartless criminal to rescue his wife, who was kidnapped just before their divorce. The show is drawing attention for its star-studded cast, including the acclaimed actor Namgoong Min, who has gained popularity through hits such as “Manager Kim,” “Stove League,” “Black Sun,” and “Lovers.”
