Lunit Inc. has secured a UK cancer specialty hospital and US public and private healthcare institutions as new clients.

On the 3rd, Lunit Inc. announced that it had successively signed contracts to supply artificial intelligence (AI) and digital solutions to major healthcare institutions in the UK and the U.S.

In the UK, the company secured “GenesisCare UK”—which operates more than 10 premium cancer centers and diagnostic centers across the country—as a new client. Through this contract, Lunit Inc. will supply Analytics and Scorecard—solutions for mammography quality and operational management—as well as the AI-based breast cancer diagnostic solutions Lunit Insight MMG and Lunit Insight DBT.

Based on these solutions, GenesisCare UK will establish an integrated screening system that encompasses everything from image quality control to AI-assisted interpretation of 2D and 3D mammograms. This will enable the organization to provide patients with more accurate and efficient breast cancer screening services.

In the United States, “VA Tulsa,” a medical facility under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), has joined Lunit Inc. as a new client. VA Tulsa is a large medical center that provides healthcare services to approximately 36,000 veterans annually.

Previously, in 2024, Lunit Inc.—through its subsidiary Lunit International (formerly Volpara)—signed a five-year contract worth a total of $7.3 million (approximately 10.6 billion won) with the U.S. Department of Defense Health Agency (DHA) to supply breast cancer screening solutions. With this latest VA contract, Lunit Inc. has further strengthened its position in the U.S. public healthcare market.

Lunit plans to supply the VA in Tulsa with “Patient Hub,” which supports all aspects of patient management—including screening appointments, follow-up, and results notification—as well as “Risk Pathways,” which supports the identification of high-risk groups for breast cancer and the operation of personalized screening programs.

Contracts with private U.S. healthcare institutions have also followed. Lunit Inc. plans to supply Patient Hub and Risk Pathways to “DeTar Healthcare System,” a general hospital in Texas, to enhance patient management and a risk-based, personalized screening system.
