On the 4th, Idivine announced that it had been selected as a finalist for the “2026 AI Youth Startup Shared Growth Voucher Support Program,” organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
Through this project, iDvine will build a dedicated AI platform called “GI-Orus.” This system will quantitatively analyze the clinical development strategies and market approval potential of GI Innovation Inc.’s key immuno-oncology drug pipeline.
The two companies will build GI-Orus based on i.Dv’s clinical success prediction and analysis solution, “i.Dv 1.0.” Through this, they plan to quantitatively analyze the development strategies and approval potential of new drug pipelines, including the immunotherapy candidate “GI-102.”
i.Dvine has developed its own multimodal AI model based on over 1.19 billion data points in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, including global patents, scientific papers, clinical trials, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review histories. Its core competitive advantage lies in its ability to comprehensively analyze vast amounts of diverse data to quantify the probability of success (PoS) for new drug candidates and systematically identify potential outcomes by indication, as well as clinical and regulatory risk factors. According to Idivine, its internal validation demonstrated an accuracy of 80–90% in predicting the clinical success of key analysis targets.
Since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in September 2024 to collaborate on AI-driven new drug development, Idivine and GI Innovation Inc. have continuously explored ways to integrate their respective technologies and pipelines. Being selected for this government-supported program is highly significant, as it marks the transition of the two companies’ collaboration from a declarative phase to the actual construction of a platform and its practical application in the field.
The “AI Youth Startup Shared Growth Voucher Support Program” is a national initiative designed to promote AI transformation (AX) in the industrial sector and foster shared growth among companies. With a total budget of 9 billion won this year, 20 projects were ultimately selected from among the 225 supplier companies shortlisted in the first round.
