[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] DaouTechnology(023590)is implementing an artificial intelligence (AI) service on its business platform “Daou Office” that integrates with internal business data to support search, summarization, and task execution.
DaouTechnology announced on the 4th that it will launch the AI service “Daou Office AI” on its business platform, Daou Office. DaouTechnology’s AI service “Dow Office AI” (Photo: DaouTechnology) Dow Office AI is a service that understands user requests through natural language-based conversations and integration with work data, and supports the necessary task processing. When a user requests a task using natural language, the service combines AI capabilities with internal company work data—such as emails, calendars, documents, and posts—to provide search, summarization, drafting, and execution support.
DaouTechnology designed this service to function as a “personal AI work assistant.” The AI supports repetitive tasks such as searching for work data, summarizing emails and documents, organizing meeting notes, and drafting emails, and can follow through with necessary actions by integrating with Daou Office’s work features.
What sets it apart from general generative AI is its connection to internal company work data. Rather than providing answers based solely on general knowledge or user-inputted content, it utilizes emails, calendars, documents, and posts generated during actual work processes to produce results tailored to each company’s work environment.
It also offers Agent AI features tailored to specific work purposes. Through Basic Agents, Company-wide Agents, and Personal Agents, users can leverage AI for tasks such as providing guidance on internal policies, onboarding new hires, organizing weekly tasks, summarizing meeting minutes, and analyzing competitor trends. By linking work-related data and background knowledge to the agents, they can be configured to provide responses that align with the goals of both the organization and the individual.
Administrator features are also included. Companies can manage company-wide usage statistics, usage by user, and the scope of agent operations. This enables organizations to operate an AI environment that aligns with their management policies while protecting business data.
The pricing structure is based on a company-wide credit system. Unlike many existing enterprise AI tools, which typically charge monthly subscription fees based on the number of employee accounts, DowOffice AI allows companies to purchase a total allocation of credits for company-wide use and then allocate them to departments or employees with high actual AI usage.
The company explains that after a free trial, organizations can select subscription plans and additional credits based on usage, allowing for implementation tailored to their size and level of utilization.
DaouTechnology plans to continuously enhance its AI services optimized for the corporate work environment by sequentially introducing messenger-based AI, AI-powered search result summarization, and AI integration across all DowOffice menus during the second half of the year.
Lee Hong-soo, Head of the Business Applications Division at DaouTechnology, stated, “Daou Office AI is an AI service that all employees can use like a personal assistant in their respective roles,” adding, “By supporting day-to-day operations based on internal data, we will simultaneously boost corporate productivity and the efficiency of AI utilization.”
