Net income was approximately 8.1 billion won, reflecting a gain of 15.7 billion won from the acquisition of OneStore.
NEXUS Reports First-Quarter Revenue of 11.6 Billion Won and Operating Profit of 100 Million Won… “Impact of Cryptocurrency Purchases” Cumulative revenue for the first half of the year was 17.42 billion won, a 9.4% increase year-over-year, while the company posted an operating loss of 5.159 billion won, marking a shift to a deficit. Net income was 5 billion won, marking a return to profitability compared to the same period last year.
Starting in the second quarter, following the OneChain 2.0 upgrade, NEXUS has begun participating directly in network operations as a validator, leading to a significant increase in platform revenue, which is expected to continue growing alongside network operations.
On June 29, NEXUS acquired an 89.03% stake in OneStore for approximately 62.6 billion won and reorganized its entire ecosystem under the “ONE” brand during the second quarter. The mainnet CROSS was renamed ONEchain, the native token $CROSS was renamed $ONE, and the ecosystem’s common medium of exchange was renamed $ONEUSD.
Through the acquisition of ONE Store, NEXUS is accelerating the development of an AI and blockchain gaming platform. In August, it launched a new “AI Games” tab, enabling AI-generated games from around the world to begin service within the ONE Store ecosystem.
The company plans to integrate the embedded wallet “ONEpocket” into the ONE Store app in mid-August. By the end of August, it will simultaneously launch the global ONE Store in 124 countries worldwide via a single build, marking the full-scale launch of its global store and gaming platform business.
The company is also accelerating the addition of exclusive content that sets it apart from other app markets. In partnership with Tencent, OneStore will begin rolling out games on its mini-game platform “OnePlay” starting in August, including titles such as “Run to Survive,” “Legend of the Divine,” and “Oh! Yang Is Here,” which have achieved top rankings in China—the world’s largest gaming market. Additionally, the company plans to strengthen the competitiveness of its game content through AI and blockchain games.
The transition to a gaming community platform is also gaining momentum. ONEquest, a participatory promotion platform, will be integrated into OneStore, expanding beyond Telegram, wallets, and the web, while the streaming platform ONEwave will also be combined with the domestic and global versions of OneStore to accelerate growth. As of July, there were 33,419 streamers active within the One ecosystem, a 12-fold increase from the 2,762 recorded in January.
CEO Jang Hyun-guk stated, “In the second quarter, we achieved a significant increase in net income following the acquisition of ONE Store,” adding, “Starting in the third quarter, we expect to see revenue growth and improvements in operating profit.”
