[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company SEERS TECHNOLOGY(458870)stated on the 6th, in response to concerns recently raised in some quarters about intensifying price competition in the patient monitoring market, that “we are maintaining our market leadership based on platform competitiveness, not price.”

SEERS explained, “To date, there has been no decrease in orders or damage to revenue due to price competition,” adding, “Hospitals select vendors by comprehensively evaluating implementation experience, platform operational capabilities, and after-sales support systems, rather than simply choosing the lowest price.”

The company also emphasized that its AI inpatient monitoring platform, “thynC™,” is not merely a medical device but a platform business that includes integration with hospital electronic medical records (EMR), AI analysis, operational processes, and customer support (CX). Ciers explained that, based on its extensive experience in deploying and operating systems at the largest number of medical institutions in Korea, it has secured numerous cases where it was selected as the final contractor even amid recent instances of price competition.

Furthermore, the company stated that the real-world clinical data and customer feedback (VOC) accumulated as the number of partner medical institutions increases are key competitive advantages that enhance AI performance and service quality. It also added that it is securing cost competitiveness through proactive procurement and direct production of core components, while strengthening its market competitiveness based on economies of scale resulting from expanded operations.

SEERS officials stated, “We are maintaining our number one position in the domestic market based on platform competitiveness, not price competition,” adding, “We will continue to expand our competitive advantage based on our accumulated operational experience and economies of scale.”
