[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] #Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD, a company specializing in advanced science and applied industries, has signed a 53.5 billion won contract with HANWHA AEROSPACE to supply key components for the Nuri liquid rocket engine.

Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD announced on the 7th, via a regulatory filing on the 6th, that it had secured a contract from HANWHA AEROSPACE—the system integrator for the Korean launch vehicle (Nuri)—to supply key components for the liquid rocket engines to be installed on Nuri launch vehicles FM7 through FM11.

Under this contract, Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD will supply key components for the liquid rocket engines for a total of five Nuri rockets, from FM7 to FM11. The contract value is approximately 10.7 billion won per launch vehicle, totaling 53.5 billion won.

The government is pursuing national space development projects, including launching at least one Nuri rocket annually through 2032 to raise the launch success rate to over 90% and establishing a low-Earth orbit microsatellite communications network.

Based on the liquid rocket engine component manufacturing technology and production experience accumulated through the Nuri project, Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD plans to reliably supply the core components needed for subsequent launches.

To meet the order volume, the company is also moving to establish a production system capable of supplying engine components for more than two rockets annually. Its policy is to expand production infrastructure and reinforce its specialized workforce to meet the demands of the expanding national space development projects and future launches.
