GC CELL Appoints Son Ju-hee as Head of Business Development… Strengthens Global Partnerships

[Edaily Reporter Minji Son ] GC CELL(144510)announced on the 10th that it has appointed Son Ju-hee as Head of Business Development (BD) to strengthen its business development capabilities.

Ms. Son graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Chungbuk National University and earned a master’s degree in internal medicine from the university’s College of Medicine.

She subsequently gained experience across the entire spectrum of the biotech business—including R&D strategy, business development, investment review, and portfolio management—at Dong-A Pharmaceutical, Dong-A Socio Holdings, and Donga ST. In particular, she acquired broad expertise in the biotech industry through her work in formulating R&D strategies, managing global development projects, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing investment strategies.

Most recently, she served as Head of the Investment Strategy Team in the Management Innovation Office at Lotte Corporation and as Head of the BD Strategy Team in the Global BD Division at Lotte Biologics, where she oversaw bio-related investment strategies, the formulation of global business development strategies, sales strategies, and the management of global partnerships.

A GC CELL official stated, “Director Son Ju-hee is an expert with extensive experience in global business development strategy, investment, and partnerships,” adding, “We expect her to play a key role in further strengthening the company’s business development capabilities and laying the foundation for mid- to long-term growth by expanding global partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.”
