Innotena and ITEG Launch Cloud-Based Document Centralization Subscription Service Targeting Mid-Sized and Small Businesses

Adding a cloud subscription business model to on-premises deployment revenue Amid Rising Hardware Prices for Servers, Storage, and Other Components, Solutions Help Reduce Initial Setup Costs and Support Rapid Deployment and Flexible Scaling Leveraging ITEG's Network of Customers and Partners to Expand Reach to Mid-Sized and Small Businesses Facing a Shortage of Security Personnel

[Edaily Reporter Ho-Jun Kim ] AX specialist MOCOMSYS(333050)(CEOs Kim In-soo and Yoon Young-ho) has begun a full-scale rollout of the cloud subscription model for its document centralization solution, “MPower EZis-C,” to target the security market for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Following the launch of the subscription model last March, the company is now partnering with iA, Inc., a total IT infrastructure service provider, to offer cloud-based subscription services.
Previously, the company supplied the solution via an on-premises model, where servers were directly deployed for public institutions, financial firms, and large corporations. However, through this partnership, it has expanded into the cloud service provider environment, broadening its target audience to include mid-sized and small businesses—a segment that was previously relatively difficult to reach. With the recent rise in server and storage prices increasing the burden of in-house deployment, this new model reduces initial investment costs and implementation time. Additionally, since iA, Inc. takes full responsibility for infrastructure operations, even companies with limited security personnel can now enhance their security levels.
A document centralization solution is a security infrastructure that isolates and stores corporate document assets in an encrypted state on a central server while controlling access based on permissions, thereby defending against ransomware, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and insider data leaks. Innotena’s “Empower Aegis-C” has been proven to provide reliable file-level encryption and access control in public sector, financial, and large enterprise environments.
This partnership also signifies a shift in Innotena’s revenue structure. Under the previous on-premises model, revenue was recognized in a single lump sum at the time of order placement, leading to significant quarterly performance fluctuations. In contrast, the subscription model generates a steady, recurring monthly revenue stream throughout the contract period, thereby enhancing revenue predictability and business stability. Building on this partnership, Innotena plans to gradually shift its focus from one-time implementation revenue to long-term operational subscription revenue.
ITZY began its server hosting and IDC business in 2003 and now provides infrastructure services spanning cloud, networking, and security, serving thousands of corporate clients and maintaining a broad partner network. Innotena expects to leverage this channel to expand its reach to small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers and generate synergies in terms of new customer acquisition and distribution efficiency.
Kim In-soo, CEO of Innotena, stated, “Document centralization is no longer a challenge exclusive to large corporations; in fact, the need is greatest among mid-sized and small businesses that lack dedicated security personnel.” He added, “By combining IT-E’s cloud infrastructure and channel capabilities with Innotena’s proven security technology, we will provide enterprise-grade document security at a reasonable cost.”
The two companies plan to gradually expand their service lineup and pricing plans and, in the medium to long term, broaden the scope of their collaboration to include AI-based intelligent document centralization features.
