[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] Kweather Co., Ltd.(068100)announced on the 14th that its consolidated net income for the first half of this year was 320 million won, a 124.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Revenue for the same period rose 7.9% to 9.35 billion won. On a consolidated basis for the second quarter, the company posted revenue of 5.41 billion won and net income of 210 million won.

On a non-consolidated basis, cumulative net income for the first half of the year was 430 million won, a 130% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue rose 3% to 8.51 billion won.

Kweather Co., Ltd. explained that while strong performance continued in its air quality measurement solutions and meteorological data businesses, a decline in the cost of sales ratio and the streamlining of selling, general, and administrative expenses contributed to improved profitability. The company maintained its profitability trend through the first half of the year, following its return to profitability in the first quarter.

The company plans to continue improving the profitability of its existing businesses in the second half of the year while also pursuing new ventures, such as the “Weather AI Factory,” to drive annual performance growth.
