[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Jung Yong-hwa of the band CNBLUE confirmed his strong local fan base by pulling off an unscheduled additional concert in Taipei.

According to his agency, FNC Entertainment, Jung Yong-hwa held a fan meeting titled “2026 JUNG YONG HWA FAN MEETING ‘SAME LIGHT: U&I’ IN TAIPEI” at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) on the 15th.
Although this fan meeting was originally scheduled for a single session, an additional performance was added after all seats sold out immediately following the ticket release. As a result, he met with fans twice in one day, demonstrating Jung Yong-hwa’s enduring popularity in the region.
The event focused on live performances and interaction with fans. Jung Yong-hwa kicked off the show with “Pain Healer,” followed by “Love Me Baby Love Me” (LMBLM), “You, Me, Us,” “WOULD YOU,” and “One Wonderful Day.” Spanning genres from rock to emotional ballads, he showcased the musical style he has cultivated as a solo artist.
He also broke down the barrier between the stage and the audience. During the performance, Jung Yong-hwa personally went down into the audience to make eye contact with fans and hold their hands, connecting with them up close.
Unique segments befitting a fan meeting were also arranged. During the first session, Jung Yong-hwa personally prepared Taiwanese-style cold noodles, and during the second session, he made sandwiches to give to fans as gifts. He also completed various challenges, including sharing stories while looking at old photos, playing Chinese word games, dancing, and performing on the recorder and guitar. After the show, he greeted fans once more through a high-five event.
This Taipei fan meeting holds significance beyond that of a simple overseas event. The fact that additional sessions were added after the originally scheduled performances sold out demonstrates that the fanbase Jung Yong-hwa has built up over his long career in the Chinese-speaking world remains as strong as ever.
