[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] CP SYSTEM(413630), a company specializing in cable chains for high-tech industries, announced on the 19th that it will participate in the “Taipei International Automation Exhibition (Automation Taipei 2026),” taking place at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan, through the 22nd, to strengthen sales efforts targeting global clients and local equipment manufacturers, with a focus on the semiconductor sector. The Taipei International Automation Exhibition is Taiwan’s premier trade show specializing in semiconductors, smart manufacturing, and industrial automation, with approximately 880 companies from around the world participating this year. The event showcases technologies and solutions in the manufacturing sector, including industrial automation, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine vision, smart factories, and motion control. At this exhibition, CP SYSTEM will showcase products centered on cable chains used in semiconductor manufacturing and back-end process automation equipment. In particular, the company plans to target major Taiwanese foundries, back-end and packaging (OSAT) companies, and semiconductor equipment manufacturers by highlighting its “G-Clean Chain,” which is specialized for high-cleanliness, low-dust environments. The company is expanding its target customer base beyond semiconductor firms to include global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) companies such as Foxconn, as well as local automation equipment manufacturers and system integrators (SIs). CP SYSTEM has established a track record of overseas deployments by supplying G-Clean Chain to production lines at major semiconductor and high-tech manufacturers, including global foundry leader TSMC, as well as CXMT and Foxconn. At this exhibition, the company plans to leverage these supply references to highlight its product technology and the potential for application across various automation processes. The company also expects to benefit from increased capital investment in Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. TSMC is expanding its advanced packaging production capacity—including CoWoS—to meet demand for AI semiconductors, and UMC is also pursuing investments in local production facilities. The company anticipates that demand for related components will grow as the need for advanced semiconductor production facilities and automation continues. CP SYSTEM’s Taiwan branch reported a sales increase of approximately 32.3% in the second quarter of this year compared to the previous quarter. The company plans to strengthen its local business foundation by using the Taiwan branch as a hub to simultaneously serve existing customers and secure new business partners. A CP SYSTEM official stated, “We have proven the technological capabilities and quality competitiveness of our ultra-clean, low-dust cable chains at major semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sites, including the world’s largest foundry company.” The official added, “As capital investment in Taiwan continues to focus on AI semiconductors and advanced packaging, we will actively seek out new clients—including semiconductor manufacturers and equipment suppliers—through this exhibition and expand our business performance in the Taiwanese market.”
