[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Rookie singer-songwriter On Jae-eun is set to release a new song.

According to her agency, Groi Entertainment, on the 21st, On Jae-eun will release a single featuring the track “My Love” at 12:00 PM on the 22nd via various online music platforms.
On Jae-eun, currently a student at Berklee College of Music, made her debut last May with the single “The Girl with Blue Eyes.”
Her new song “My Love,” released just three months later, is a rock track that explores the theme of feelings left unsaid to a former lover and the process of growing up as she lets go of that love.
On Jae-eun wrote the lyrics and composed the music herself, while Lee Hee-tae (REDO)—who has collaborated on albums by singer-songwriter Yeon Jeong—handled the arrangement, keyboards, and bass. Guitar was performed by Kwon Ju-won, who has collaborated with Ohwan, Woo Hyo, and Heo Hoi-kyung, while drums were played by Park Jae-jun of Danpyeonsun Sungan-deul, who won the Album of the Year award in the Modern Rock category at the Korean Popular Music Awards.
Groien Entertainment stated, “This track is characterized by delicate vocals and lyrics, as well as a rock sound that actively utilizes irregular time signatures and tempo changes,” adding, “Through this new song, On Jae-eun will convey the message that love isn’t necessarily beautiful only when it’s reciprocated; sometimes, love shines even brighter precisely because it remains unrequited.”
