[Edaily Reporter Han Kwangbeom ] SamsungElectronics(005930)’s premium wireless earbuds, the “Galaxy Buds4 Pro,” have proven their audio technology on the global stage.
SamsungElectronics announced on the 24th that the “Galaxy Buds4 Pro” was selected as the best product in the “In-Ear Headphones” category at the “EISA Awards 2026–2027,” organized by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).
This marks the first time the Galaxy Buds series has won an EISA Award. Launched in 1982, the EISA Awards are a prestigious awards ceremony in the consumer electronics industry, where tech experts from more than 25 countries worldwide serve as judges to evaluate the performance and innovation of nominated products.
The EISA judging panel highly praised the Galaxy Buds4 Pro for its immersive sound quality, personalized listening experience, ergonomic design, and excellent call quality.
EISA President Ryubisa Miodragović explained, “The 2-way speaker structure, featuring dedicated amplifiers for both the woofer and tweeter, delivers clean, distortion-free sound and rich musical detail,” adding, “Advanced sensor fusion technology—combining a bone-conduction-based vibration sensor (VPU) with noise-reduction algorithms—ensures crystal-clear call quality anytime, anywhere.”
The Galaxy Buds4 Pro feature a speaker effective area approximately 20% larger than the previous generation, delivering rich bass, while also supporting a dedicated tweeter that precisely reproduces high frequencies and 24-bit 96 kHz ultra-high-fidelity audio. By analyzing the user’s wearing position and unique ear shape, the earbuds provide an optimized noise-canceling algorithm in real time, and the “Super Clear Call” feature enables crisp calls even in noisy environments.
In terms of design, the earbuds incorporate a new premium metal blade—developed based on over 100 million ear data points from around the world and more than 10,000 wear simulations—to ensure an optimal fit for a wide variety of ear shapes.
Moon Han-gil, Master of the Audio Group at SamsungElectronics’ MX Business Division, emphasized, “We have always aimed to deliver the sound intended by creators in its entirety, without distortion.” He added, “It is meaningful to have our audio technology and differentiated user experience recognized through this EISA Award, and we will continue to lead the global wireless audio market.”
Meanwhile, SamsungElectronics’ 2026 OLED TV S99H (known as the SH95 in South Korea), equipped with a “3rd-generation AI 4K processor” and 28 AI neural networks, was also named a winner in the “Lifestyle TV” category at this year’s EISA Awards.
