[E-Daily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] Finger Inc.(163730)will jointly pursue an Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) initiative for the financial industry with Megazone Cloud. The two companies will each invest 30 billion won in the other to enhance the effectiveness of their collaboration.

Finger Inc. announced on the 24th that it had signed a “Strategic Partnership for AX Collaboration in the Financial Industry” with Megazone Cloud at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Finger Inc. CEO Ahn In-ju and Megazone Cloud CEO Yeom Dong-hoon, among others.

This collaboration was initiated based on the assessment that, as demand for AI adoption in the financial sector expands, so too is the need for application modernization and data transformation. Amid growing demand for a provider with expertise in both financial operations and infrastructure, Finger Inc. took the initiative to propose the partnership.

The two companies will work together on: △jointly promoting AX and system integration (SI) projects for financial institutions; △jointly developing and commercializing AI solutions specialized for financial operations; and △integrating infrastructure and application operations and commercializing subscription-based services.

Since building South Korea’s first smart banking system in 2010, Finger Inc. has accumulated business experience in the financial IT applications sector by developing mobile banking, open banking, and digital channels for commercial banks. The company plans to expand its AX business in the financial sector by combining these capabilities with Megazone Cloud’s expertise in cloud migration, Agent AI, application modernization, and security.

The two companies will also jointly target overseas financial markets. By leveraging MegaZone Cloud’s global presence in 10 countries and Finger Inc.’s expertise in building financial applications, they plan to support Korean financial firms’ overseas expansion and expand their business with local financial institutions.

Yeom Dong-hoon, CEO of Megazone Cloud, stated, “While financial clients recognize the need for AI transformation, they are struggling to take the first step due to regulatory constraints and operational complexity.” He added, “Through this collaboration, we will develop AI tailored to financial operations and ensure it leads to tangible results for our clients.”

Ahn In-ju, CEO of Finger Inc., said, “Since building Korea’s first smart banking system, we have been exploring ways to offer the expertise we’ve accumulated in the financial sector to a wider range of customers.” He added, “By combining this with Megazone Cloud’s AI and cloud capabilities, we will create new growth opportunities not only in the financial AI sector but also in physical AI for the manufacturing sector and in overseas markets.”

Finger Inc. plans to use this partnership as a springboard to expand its growth engines into next-generation AI convergence businesses, including physical AI—such as robots and autonomous vehicles—that operate in real-world physical environments.
