As part of its strategy to target the autonomous driving market, SOS LAB Co., Ltd. is participating in the “2026 Autonomous Mobility Expo (AME 2026),” which runs through the 27th at COEX in Seoul.

At this exhibition, SOS LAB Co., Ltd. will showcase the ‘ML-U190,’ a 3D fixed-mount LiDAR for autonomous vehicles, as its flagship product. Visitors will be able to see the ML-U190 actually mounted on a vehicle and examine the product’s perception capabilities.

The ML-U190 is a fixed-mount LiDAR with an ultra-wide field of view of 190 degrees × 142 degrees. It is designed to provide broad perception of the vehicle’s surroundings, including the periphery, sides, and blind spots, and is characterized by its compact size, which allows it to be mounted on the Chonbang grille, inside the headlights, or within the side mirrors.

Deploying multiple ML-U190 units on a vehicle allows the detection areas of the sensors to overlap, enabling a more precise understanding of the vehicle’s surroundings. SOS LAB Co., Ltd. expects the system to be highly useful in close-range vehicle environments, such as low-speed driving, parking, turning, entering intersections, and when pedestrians are approaching.

In addition to LiDAR hardware, SOS LAB Co., Ltd. is also showcasing AI-based spatial perception software technologies. The company will introduce technologies such as its AI-based colorization technology—which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award—as well as technologies for high-resolution data rendering, glare reduction, and improved perception performance in adverse weather conditions.

In addition, the company will exhibit key products and solutions such as its 3D LiDAR products—ML-X, ML-A, and SL-U—as well as the LiDAR Control Unit (LCU), 2D LiDAR models GL3 and GL5, and the spatial intelligence platform SPADI.

Jeong Ji-seong, CEO of SOS LAB Co., Ltd., stated, “The ML-U190 excels in short-range, ultra-wide-angle perception and is well-suited for urban autonomous driving environments,” adding, “We will strengthen our competitiveness in LiDAR-based spatial perception technology in response to the advancement of autonomous driving technology and the expansion of the robotaxi market.”
