Artificial intelligence (AI) technology was utilized to reduce the burden on users. In the “Colosseum,” players engage in one-on-one battles against “Personas”—AI entities that reflect the user’s appearance and combat abilities. Since players can compete at any time they choose, even when their opponent is offline, this reduces the pressure associated with real-time battles.

User convenience has also been enhanced with an AI mode that continues hunting and character progression according to preset settings even when the user is offline. “Zeus: God of Hubris” also puts significant effort into its narrative and world-building. The game is set in “Teia,” a world that reimagines Greek mythology. Teia is a world where gods, demigods, humans, and monsters coexist. In the past, the gods of Olympus defeated Cronos and the Titans in battle, but they were unable to completely destroy them and instead sealed them away. As a being straddling the line between god and human, the player overcomes trials to grow into the strongest “Vessel of the Gods.”

At the center of the narrative is the key NPC “Pandora.” She guides the player through major events and connects them to the gods; actress Park Ji-hyun’s appearance and voice were brought to life in the game through facial scanning and voice recording. The messenger god “Hermes” also guides the player’s journey and conveys the will of the gods.
