[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Neptune Company(217270)announced on the 28th that it has signed a game content supply agreement with kakaopay(377300)and will participate as a partner in kakaopay’s “Mini-Games” service.

“Mini Games” is a service launched by kakaopay in February of this year, aiming to create a lifestyle finance platform that naturally integrates into users’ daily lives beyond traditional financial services. It is characterized by rewarding users with kakaopay Points when they complete simple missions while enjoying a variety of games.

Under this agreement, the Neptune Company will curate a lineup of casual games optimized for kakaopay users by selecting titles from among its popular IPs and those of partner game developers. These games will be converted into H5 (HTML5) format, allowing users to play them directly on kakaopay and KakaoTalk without having to install a separate app.

Additionally, the H5 games that the Neptune Company brings to kakaopay will be equipped with “AdX,” the Neptune Company’s mobile advertising revenue maximization platform. This is expected to improve profitability through a system that automatically delivers ads with high effective cost per mille (eCPM).

In particular, the Neptune Company was selected as a partner because it was recognized for its ability to reliably manage kakaopay’s massive user traffic while meeting high technical requirements—such as stability and security—despite the high barriers to entry for game providers inherent in financial platforms.

The Neptune Company has already been preparing its game content supply business for platform operators—having partnered with Toss in July of last year to participate as an “App in Toss” partner and successfully launched approximately 30 games, including “Infinite Stairs” and “Cat Snack Bar”—and has also hosted the “HTML5 Game Challenge” contest.
