[E-Daily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] The group USPEER proved their status as the next generation of Hallyu stars by winning the Hallyu Special Award.

USPEER took home the “Hallyu Special Award” trophy at the “8th Newsis Hallyu Expo (K-EXPO)” held on the 28th. This award holds special significance as it is the first award USPEER has received since their debut.
Upon receiving the “Hallyu Special Award,” USPEER expressed their gratitude through their agency, MW Entertainment, stating, “We are deeply grateful to have received this honorable award, and we will never forget its significance; we will repay this honor with even better music and performances.” They added, “We will strive to become great artists who help spread K-culture far and wide.”
The “Hallyu Special Award” is presented to a rookie artist who has proven their star power and potential as the next-generation star leading the Hallyu wave. Last year, “Lysanne,” who is currently leading a craze in the music industry, was named the recipient.
YouSphere, who released their first mini-album “BITE DISTRICT” on June 17 and promoted with the title track “WICKED GAME,” achieved a career-high first-week sales figure—nearly double that of their previous release. They also demonstrated significant growth by topping the Hanteo Chart’s real-time album and music charts.
USphere recently wrapped up promotional activities in Tokyo, Japan, and successfully held their first fan meeting in Taiwan, connecting with fans around the world.
On the 1st of next month at 6:00 p.m., YUSPHERE will hold a busking performance titled “A Day With US” at Star Plaza, located in front of the main entrance of U-Plex at the Hyundai Department Store Sinchon Branch in Seoul.
