The “ELB No. 456” being offered is a 3-year, principal-guaranteed product with monthly payouts. On each monthly valuation date, if the monthly valuation price of the underlying asset is 50% or more of the initial reference price, a monthly return of 0.475% before tax (5.7% annually) will be paid. However, if the price falls below 50% of the initial reference price as of the valuation date, the return for that month will not be paid.
This product offers an early redemption opportunity every six months. On the automatic early redemption valuation date, if the price of the underlying asset is 100% or more of the initial reference price, the principal is paid out and the product is redeemed early. Even if the maturity valuation price of the underlying asset falls below 100% on the maturity valuation date, the principal is paid out; however, principal loss may occur in the event of early redemption.
The minimum subscription amount is 1 million won, and subscriptions can be made in increments of 100,000 won. Detailed information is available on the KYOBOSECURITIESCO.,LTD. website and via the mobile trading system (MTS) “Win.K.”
ELBs are not covered by deposit insurance, and investors may not receive the agreed-upon return depending on fluctuations in the price of the underlying asset. Additionally, when requesting early redemption, investors should consider not only the possibility of principal loss but also the issuer’s credit risk. KYOBOSECURITIESCO.,LTD. holds an AA- credit rating from Korea Ratings Corporation.
