[Edaily Starin, Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] TV personality Heo Kyung-hwan is set to debut his first solo talk show.

With T-Cast E Channel’s new show, “Be Happy with Heo Kyung-hwan’s Catchphrases,” set to premiere on the 9th, the network has released two teaser videos.
The released teasers begin with a suspenseful scene reminiscent of the news footage from the movie “The Terror Live.” As a breaking news report announces that something will be revealed for the first time on “Heo Kyung-hwan’s Buzzword Show,” Heo Kyung-hwan reacts excitedly, asking, “Is that really me?” Along with Heo Kyung-hwan emphasizing the “first-ever reveal,” the text “Exclusive Scoop. Facts never revealed anywhere else. Finally unveiled for the first time on ‘Heo Kyung-hwan’s Buzzword Show’” appears on screen.
Another teaser begins with Heo Gyeong-hwan introducing himself: “This is Heo Gyeong-hwan from ‘Be Happy with Heo Gyeong-hwan’s Catchphrases.’” Heo continues his parade of catchphrases, saying, “Unfortunately, I didn’t make the cut as a co-host on ‘You Quiz,’ but luckily, I’m finally hosting it solo—‘Isn’t this exactly what it’s all about?’”
Heo Gyeong-hwan says, “This is my first time as the sole host in 20 years since my debut,” and while appearing excited—asking, “Is ‘You Quiz’ watching? Get nervous!”—he goes on to spout his catchphrases, such as “I’m anxious” and “Ija pu-tto.”
Previously, Heo Kyung-hwan had garnered attention as a potential candidate to replace Jo Se-ho as the new host of “You Quiz on the Block.” However, the show has continued with Yoo Jae-suk hosting solo, without a new co-host. Heo Kyung-hwan mentioned this while expressing his aspirations.
“Heo Kyung-hwan’s Trend Show” is a talk show that delves into celebrities’ trivial daily lives and unexpected habits rather than grand topics like their work, success, or life. With a counterintuitive concept of “treating the world’s most trivial first-time revelations with the greatest fanfare,” it brings out new sides of guests by asking questions that no one has ever asked before.
“Heo Kyung-hwan’s Trend Show” is a collaboration between T-Cast E Channel—known for the “Brave Detectives” series, “Divorced and Single,” and “My Kid’s Romance”—and NYCC, led by Producer Kim Na-yeon, who planned and produced “Dex’s Cold Interview” and “Young K’s K-Survival.”
The first episode of “Heo Kyung-hwan’s Trend Show” will premiere on the YouTube channel “ggzz” at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th, with new episodes airing every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. thereafter.
