DEEPNOID Inc. Supplies AI X-Ray Report Generation Solution to Jeonbuk National University Hospital
Pusan National University Hospital Achieves Consecutive Success Following Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital… Accelerating Commercialization in Clinical Settings Centered on Regional Medical Hubs
"Expectations for Faster Commercialization of Generative Medical AI… Modality to Expand to Include CT and MRI"
[E-Daily Reporter Kim Seung-kwon ] DEEPNOID Inc.(315640)announced on the 7th that it has signed a contract with Jeonbuk National University Hospital to supply “M4CXR,” a generative AI-based solution for generating preliminary chest X-ray reports.
Jeonbuk National University Hospital is a tertiary general hospital with 1,050 beds and serves as a regional hub for the treatment of critically ill patients in the Honam region.
This contract was part of the “AI-Based Medical Treatment System Support Project for Regional Hub Medical Institutions” promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Following recent successful deployments at Pusan National University Hospital and Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital, this development suggests that the practical adoption and commercialization of generative medical AI in hospital settings is gradually gaining momentum. Jeonbuk National University Hospital expects that the introduction of M4CXR will improve the quality of medical services by enhancing the diagnostic efficiency of its medical staff.
An official from Jeonbuk National University Hospital stated, “Using technology to alleviate the burden of diagnostic work is an essential task for regional hub hospitals to maintain their clinical capabilities,” adding, “We expect that the introduction of M4CXR will create an environment where medical staff can focus on making clinical judgments and will also raise the standard of medical services.”
Choi Woo-sik, CEO of DEEPNOID Inc., remarked, “Since national university hospitals handle clinical care, education, and public healthcare simultaneously, this is where the practical role AI can play is most clearly demonstrated,” adding, “Starting with diagnostic assistance, we aim to evolve into a medical Agent AI company that supports the entire clinical workflow.”
Meanwhile, DEEPNOID Inc. announced at a media day last July its plans to expand the modalities of its generative medical AI solutions and its commitment to becoming a medical AI service provider. As part of this initiative, on the 6th, the company completed the approval process with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for its telediagnosis platform, “AxonFlow,” laying the groundwork for its transformation into an Agent AI-based medical service provider.
