Seo In-young appeared as the “my star” on the episode of SBS’s “I’ll Do Anything for You, Genie—Secretaries” (“Secretaries”) that aired on the 11th. The episode covered everything from an unprecedented “refusal to be waited on” incident to a lingerie photo shoot and her life story.
On the show, Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu stepped in as Seo In-young’s one-day managers for her lingerie photo shoot. The two received an endless “instruction manual” from Seo In-young’s manager, including instructions to engage in a staring contest to establish dominance, to care for her like a 5-year-old boy, and to call her “Princess.”
In response, Lee Seo-jin remarked, “Isn’t she in her 40s? I really hate 5-year-old boys,” and declared he would refuse to act as her personal attendant. Kim Kwang-kyu also drew laughter by saying, “It’s already been 15 minutes just for the handover. What kind of complete turnaround is this?”
Once filming began in earnest, Seo In-young surprised everyone with her professional demeanor. Kim Kwang-kyu marveled, “She’s a pro. It’s not easy for even a man to reveal his underwear,” adding, “Revealing your underwear shows professionalism. In that sense, she’s impressive.”

Seo In-young also opened up about her extravagant spending habits in the past. “My dad did the math and said I’d spent enough to buy three buildings,” she said. “To my dad, I must have looked like a crazy person.” She continued, “After spending tens of millions of won on liposuction, my dad took my credit card away, so now I get 1 million won in allowance to live on.”
During the dinner gathering, she opened up about her concerns regarding her boyfriend, with whom she’s planning to get married at the end of the year. Seo In-young said, “I really want to live well this time.” In response, Lee Seo-jin offered some practical advice: “You shouldn’t get married with that kind of mindset. That’s why. You need to be a bit more cautious the second time around, right?” Seo In-young added, “You need to be more careful the second time around.” When asked about relationship worries, she added, “Either overcome it together through prayer, go to early morning prayer services, or break up,” which drew laughter.
Seo In-young also addressed past controversies and the meaning of “making a fresh start.” She confessed, “Rather than denying everything, I acknowledged my past mistakes and thought, ‘Isn’t this a process through which I can change for the better?’ and ‘Won’t I grow from this?’” In response, Lee Seo-jin concluded the day by saying, “I don’t think you need to make a fresh start. You put in a lot of effort, you’re thoughtful, and you never cross the line,” concluding the day.
