In the final episode of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Married Woman Killer,” airing on the 12th, Yoo Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin) and Kwon Tae-sung (played by Jung Joon-won) come face-to-face due to Leila’s (played by Lee Eliya) scheme, leading to a life-or-death showdown.
In the previous episode, the Kingfisher copycat caused a public uproar by sniping two innocent civilians. Harboring deep resentment toward Yoo Bo-na, the copycat had come all the way to Korea to seek revenge. As the two finally came face to face again, the tension soared when Kwon Tae-sung appeared on the scene just as Yoo Bo-na aimed her gun at Leila.
The stills released on the 12th capture the intense standoff and tension between Yoo Bo-na and Leila. Notably, Kwon Tae-sung has also arrived at the Seonyudo scene as a result of Leila’s scheme. Yoo Bo-na, momentarily flustered that her husband has discovered her true identity, quickly overcomes her shock and lunges at Leila in a fit of rage.
Above all, although Kwon Tae-sung was aware of Kingfisher’s true identity, this is the first time he has come face-to-face with Yoo Bo-na herself, and he cannot hide his shock. Amid the fierce exchange between Yoo Bo-na and Leila, gunshots ring out, pushing the situation to the brink of disaster.
In another still, Yoo Bo-na wraps her arms around Kwon Tae-sung’s neck, her face contorted with a complex mix of despair and tenderness that leaves viewers feeling choked up. As the time they spent as an ordinary couple and the truths they’ve hidden become entangled in an instant, all eyes are on what fate awaits the two as they teeter on the brink.
Meanwhile, Lee Dong-jin (played by Lee Sang-yi) arrives at the Seonyudo scene with armed SWAT team members, closing in on Kingfisher. As a result, the situation for Yoo Bo-na and Kwon Tae-sung becomes even more precarious, and the tension rises.
Lee Dong-jin is seen aiming his gun at someone, fueling curiosity about who his target is and whether he will succeed in capturing Kingfisher. Another key point to watch is what choices Yoo Bo-na, Kwon Tae-sung, and Lee Dong-jin—bound together as a married couple and friends—will make in the final moments.
“The Married Woman Killer” is a drama depicting the struggles of a working mom with the world’s most dangerous job as she fights to maintain a work-life balance. The final episode, airing on the 12th, will be extended by 10 minutes and broadcast at 9:40 p.m.
