TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd. completed the construction of Jeonbuk National University’s next-generation integrated information system, “JUMP,” and held a “Next-Generation System (JUMP & JUIC) Launch Ceremony” attended by Jeonbuk National University President Yang Oh-bong, university members, and TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd. officials.

With this launch, Jeonbuk National University’s system—which had been in operation since 2011—has been completely overhauled. TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd. explained that it built a digital campus infrastructure encompassing all academic, administrative, and research operations, focusing on implementing user-centered university administration and a data-driven work environment.

Since winning the contract for Phase 1 of the Jeonbuk National University Next-Generation Integrated Information System project in December 2024, TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd. has carried out the entire process, from analysis and design to application development, IT infrastructure construction, data migration, integration testing, and user validation.

Centered on mobile and the portal, the new system provides customized academic, administrative, and co-curricular services tailored to specific user groups—including faculty, students, and staff—on a single platform. Approximately 4,000 new screens were developed to support a paperless work environment, and multilingual services were implemented for international members. A “Graduation Self-Assessment” feature, which allows students to independently verify whether they meet graduation requirements, was also introduced.

TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd.’s key solutions were also applied to this project. Centered on “eXBuilder6,” an HTML5-based user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) platform, the company integrated the database modeling tool “eXERD,” the customizable portal “eXPortal,” the survey system “eXSurvey,” and the test automation solution “AIQBot.”

Based on this, TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd. plans to expand the scope of its solutions in university IT projects. The company provides solutions and services covering the entire spectrum of university IT—including integrated information systems, academic management systems, portals, single sign-on (SSO), and survey systems—to numerous universities and educational institutions.

Cho Gil-ju, CEO of TOMATOSYSTEM Co.,Ltd., stated, “The official launch of JUMP is a meaningful achievement that once again demonstrates our technological expertise in university IT and our capability to build large-scale systems, both of which we have cultivated over many years.” He added, “Since the university’s selection for the ‘Glocal University 30’ initiative, we have realized its digital innovation through a next-generation integrated information system. Given the significance of this achievement, we expect it to serve as a benchmark for other universities pursuing similar innovations in the future.”

He added, “Through stable operational support and continuous enhancement, we will actively expand next-generation information systems and AI-based digital transformation projects to universities nationwide.”
