According to his agency, Superbell Company, Dindin donated 10 million won to the Korean Red Cross on the 18th under the name of his YouTube channel, “Dindin is Dindin.”
On his YouTube channel “Dindin is Dindin,” he explained, “Through YouTube, I’ve received so much love from you all and experienced many happy moments for the first time,” adding, “It’s all thanks to you. I sincerely thank you. I look forward to your continued support.”
The donation, delivered through the Korean Red Cross, is scheduled to be used to support families in crisis.
Dindin has consistently made donations over the years, demonstrating meaningful efforts to bring warmth to society. In particular, after surpassing a cumulative donation total of 50 million won, he was recognized for his contributions to the Red Cross’s humanitarian activities and awarded the “Red Cross Member Medal of Honor (Highest Honor).”
Through his agency, Dindin shared his thoughts, saying, “I wanted to meet my subscribers for the first time through this flea market and use the heartwarming proceeds from that meaningful event for a worthy cause.” He added, “After hearing Jaeyul’s story through the Korean Red Cross, I decided to make this donation in the hope that Jaeyul would not lose hope.”
Dindin continued, “I wanted to convey that the world is still a warm place full of hope, and I hope that Jae-yul will grow up to be a good adult and become a wonderful person who cares for those around him.”
Dindin, who first gained recognition in 2013 through his appearance on Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 2,” built his mainstream popularity by appearing on the KBS2 variety show “2 Days & 1 Night.” He is currently balancing his career as a singer with his work in variety shows.
