[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Jessica, a former member of the group Girls’ Generation, took the stage in Korea for the first time in about 12 years since leaving the group. For her long-awaited return to the domestic stage, she chose to perform the hit song “Naengmyeon,” which she originally sang with Park Myung-soo.

Jessica attended the “2026 Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju” special performance held at the Gyeongju Citizens’ Stadium on the 19th and shared the stage with Park Myung-soo.
The two teamed up as the project group “Myeongka Drive” to perform “Naengmyeon.” This marked a recreation of the stage they first presented in 2009 on MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” during the “Olympic Expressway Duet Song Festival,” some 17 years later.
At the time, Park Myung-soo and Jessica formed “Myung Card Drive” and released “Naengmyeon.” The upbeat song, which captured the summer vibe, and the duo’s chemistry became a hot topic, establishing “Naengmyeon” as one of the signature songs of the “Infinite Challenge Song Festival.”
This performance holds special significance for Jessica as well. After debuting with Girls’ Generation in 2007, Jessica left the group in 2014 and expanded her career as a solo artist and entrepreneur. Since then, she has focused her activities primarily overseas—particularly in China—rather than in Korea.
Rarely seen on domestic stages, Jessica stood before a Korean audience again for the first time in about 12 years since leaving Girls’ Generation. In particular, by choosing “Naengmyeon” with Park Myung-soo—a collaboration widely regarded as one of her signature variety and music performances—as her comeback stage, she brought joy to fans who remember the days of “Infinite Challenge.”
“Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju” is an event based on the universe of the MBC variety show “Infinite Challenge.” The performance featured Park Myung-soo and Jessica, as well as artists who had previously participated in the “Infinite Challenge Music Festival,” including Skull, Haha, Zion.T, Yoon Mi-rae, Tiger JK, and Lee Juck.
