As a collaboration between two artists representing different genres, this performance promises to be more than just a special appearance—it heralds a new spectacle: “the fusion of song and movement.”

According to Management Romantic on the 23rd, Choi Ho-jong will participate in the 2026 KBS Chuseok Special “Your Life Is a Never-Ending Story – Lee Seung-chul.” He will be involved from the opening VCR, which kicks off the performance, through the main stage, and is set to expand upon the emotions of life and time contained in Lee Seung-chul’s music through his movements.
In particular, he took on the role of symbolically conveying the program’s overarching message in the opening VCR. He brought the theme “Your Life Is a Never-Ending Story” to life through his signature physical language, completing the show’s opening scene. On the main stage as well, he plans to visually heighten the emotional impact of the songs through performances that intertwine with Lee Seung-chul’s music.
This collaboration is also significant in that it broadens the intersection between popular music and the art of dance. The music of Lee Seung-chul—who has connected with audiences on stage for 40 years—meets the movements of Choi Ho-jong, who has expanded his repertoire from traditional Korean dance to contemporary dance, creating a stage that transcends generations and genres.
Choi Ho-jong has been consistently collaborating with popular music stages recently. Last year, he left a strong impression by performing the opening act with G-Dragon at the Melon Music Awards (MMA), and this time, he is teaming up with Lee Seung-cheol. It is also noteworthy that dance is expanding beyond its status as a standalone genre to become a core element of large-scale popular culture productions.
He has also broadened his scope in his solo career. Last year, he became the first dancer to hold a solo performance, and this past May, he presented his second solo performance, “Choi Ho-jong 2nd Movenote <LIMBØ>,” building both artistic merit and popular appeal.
